CPS salesman said their % of all credit cards was the same, no higher fees for rewards cards, etc. When they did the verbal authorization I was told that if I ever decided to quit their service to just send back the machine, no questions asked. When I discovered that the %'s were higher than promised and that rewards cards were even higher, I tried to cancel, but was then told it was $500 cancellation fee! 1/19/2012 notified Cresent Processing in writing as required by them to close my merchant account. Jan 2012 they took $17.64 from my checking (service charge ) Feb $16.46 March $16.46 April $16.46. I call to ask why they are taking a monthly service charge for an account I cloised in Jan 2012. I was told they would not close the account on written notice only. Crescent is the most horrible and terrible credit card processing company I could ever imagine. First, they go home at noon each day and you can get no answers. They have carefully crafted staff in ways to hold your money and deny talking to you. Complaints are so prolific that their phone system can identify complainers numbers and route them to voice mails. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE check into more reviews about this company before you sign anything with them. In my opinion, it is a TOTAL SCAM! They go into my account, whenever they want, and take out money. They always come up with some ridiculous excuse for doing it. No Call List Harrassment

Crescent Processing Company has been soliciting our office for months and we have always asked to be put on a no call list. We were getting at least four calls a week from them.
Earlier this week they called and said that they could not respect our request to be put on a no call list unless it came from the owner. I just began working for CPC as an ISA. It is great. The people are friendly, and the job is not bad. Like any job, there is going to be an adjustment period. You have to get used to the new job. Some people are complaining about the job, but the people with complaints didn't wait it out. They quit before they could get into the job, and really do it to the best of their ability. Sales are hard, you have to have tough skin and stick it out. The company is great, if you understood everything crescent had to offer you would not complain. You have to give a little to get a lot.

I had dealings with Crescent 2 days ago. They were extremely brash. By that I mean they sped me through a rushed presentation. Then they fed me garbage about how Terry Bradshaw promotes Crescent free. That is pure B.S.. My last company contracted with Terry Bradshaw to do a promo webinar for them. Terry and company charged anywhere from $25,000- $35,000 for a TV or Web spot. He has a whole organization that gets him business.

WROST COMPANY EVER. At first they are the most wonderful people ever. But once you have signed the contract you dont mean anything to them. DON'T RECOMMEND anyone to switch over to them. Your money will take almost a week to get deposited into your account. Also they have the worst customer service. I called to cancel and after charging $495 to cancel, I still had to pay to ship them their crapping equipment back. The guy I spoke to was VERY VERY rude.

They will charge you a fee if you don't use their service. I canceled over one and a half months ago and they still continue to try to deduct payment even after I called them and sent them information from my bank showing when they tried to deduct payments. They said they'll look into it but the deductions continue.
Don't give them your debit card. The bank won't stop it. I don't understand why not with a debit card. Sounds like less protection than a credit card.

I was going to work for them, until I was sent a laptop for work that was falling apart. When I say that I mean it, when I got it out of the box the back of the screen was almost off and the screen would lean forward from its casing. I ended up not working for them, I was told I would have to send it back. I had to wait until I got a pay check to pay the shipping, however that wasn't fast enough for them. Then hold it even though your customer sends the form. So now your customer is mad because his card has been charged but the account is not credited. This happened to me and when my customer decided to pay with a check, I was still charged a transaction fee AND a refund fee. As a business owner I signed up with crescent processing with a sales rep, who told me there was no fees for early termination, after a year or so of using there service, credit card sales declined to a point were I getting all cash for services, and was paying 30bucks a month for something I was not using, so I decided to call crescent and let them know I wouldn't be needing their services anymore.

I checked out cresent before the appointment and went in to the appointment with my eyes open, and ears too.
I read the BBB reports on complaints filed however all were resolved except 30.Also when I asked about the number of businesses they have I was told over 50,000.I checked it out so the complaints are minimal compared to the volume they serve.
Also as a business owner I undertsand people do and can complain.

We went with this company because the sales rep. led us to believe that we would get $300. toward cancellation of prior company's fees and that we were under no obligation to stay with the company if it did not measure up to what we needed. I have read several of these complaints and they are such a crock!! The guy who had $8,000 held from him is because it was a transaction for $8,000 when his average ticket was probably around $500. Any time you swipe a card for that ammount will be flagged for fraud. EVERY PROCESSING COMPANY DOES THIS!! Just about every complaint on here is the direct result of the merchant not doing of understanding what they are supposed to do. And when they are charged for it they get pissed! We lived up to our agreement, but they have not lived up to theirs. They hold onto funds for no reason.
